Chiropractic, Postural, and Joint Adjustments

The word adjustment describes hundreds of ways of using carefully directed and controlled pressure to restore joints to a more normal position and motion. Chiropractic Adjustments are not limited to the correction of spinal joints -- nearly all of the bodys joints can be mobilized using different techniques. It improves joint flexibility and restores strength to areas weakened by misalignment. It also alleviates the strain on surrounding muscles that are overworked by trying to pull a stiff or misaligned joint back into its proper place.

The Posture Perfect doctor diagnoses conditions by using Proper Neuromuscular and Orthopedic tests to evaluate the injury. Once the exam is completed a proper diagnosis a treatment plan is constructed.

Dr. Wendy Scott

Dr. Wendy Scott graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2007 and has practiced for three years in busy clinics located in San Antonio and the Dallas area. She is 30 years old and was born and raised in Bulverde/ San Antonio, TX. She attended Texas A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science.

She then moved to Dallas to attend Chiropractic school where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic along with bachelor degrees in Anatomy and Health & Wellness. Since graduating she has completed 100 hours in the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician program.

Dr. Scott chose this profession based on her own experiences as a patient with a debilitating joint disease she was diagnosed with as a child. She was treated with several medications which led to zero results and other medical problems. She was also told she would need several joint replacements before age 30 and would not be likely to participate in athletics and other physical activities. Thanks to her strong will and chiropractic care Dr. Scott is now pain free, surgery free, and played 4 varsity sports in high school.

She continues to stay physically healthy and her desire is to share her knowledge from her own experiences and education to those who are in need, to educate and promote a healthy lifestyle and help healthy individuals maintain and maximize their lifestyle.
